I might make these American Painting slides into Gum prints. Seems logical to me to make photographically reproduced paintings back into a form of painting/printmaking.

This weekend at the Art Fair, I picked up this refurbished book turned journal from the “Journal Ladies.” A couple of my friends have these books/journals, and they have become very inspirational in what they can accomplish with them. My aim with this journal is to discuss photography, indirectly… using “without glasses” to infer the process of observing and not the process of actually photographing. I hope to fill it with writing as well as images commenting on the process of seeing (especially my own visual and colour deficiency) . I am still filtering through ideas in my head….
